You must not indulge in processed food like bacon, ham, sausages and the like as they contain an excess amount of salt. Processed food is in general promotes unhealthy eating habit.

Restrict yourself from consuming red meat like lamb, pork, mutton and beef, stick to white meat instead. Even if you are consuming white meat ensure that it is lean and cut out all the fat. Dairy products can be consumed in limited quantities, but butter and the various varieties of cheese must not be taken in abundance!
