Foot odor can be so serious that you start getting isolated wherever you go. The problem is more common with men than women and in most cases, men tend to ignore it, leading to secondary symptoms like fungal toe nail infections, athlete’s foot and other bacterial infections caused due to sweat.

Foot odor is basically caused due to sweat build up inside the shoes. Tight and covered shoes will block moisture inside which can lead to bacterial overgrowth  inside the shoes. This embarrassing problem can be very well treated at home with some natural solutions. Let’s check out how.

Remedies For Foot Odor

Tea Bag Remedy

Tea contains tannin which helps in removing bacteria from the feet that cause odor. Take a bucket full of hot water and add 10-15 tea bags into it. Allow the tea bags to steep for some time. Now soak your feet inside for 30 minutes. The action of tannin on your feet will remove all the bacteria that could be lodged in between your fingers. The pores on your feet too will be dried with the action of tannin. Doing this for a week every day will help in leaving your feet dry and bacteria free.

This can be repeated 3-4 times a week to keep your feet odor free.
